3 types of coffee - the middle is Foggy Gap Gold

Coffee!

This post is long overdue, with apologies to Jaime at LifeofFiction.com for my taking so long to post it. For those who don’t like religious posts, this one DOES have notes of chocolate and religion… so skip it if you are avoiding religion or caffeine.

Jaime asked if I liked coffee. The folks at Restoration Roastery had offered to send coffee to some of his subscribers.

I admit it. I like coffee.

Okay, like may be too weak of a word. I am a writer, right?

I love, adore, breathe, and indulge in coffee. Coffee fuels me.

Just don’t tell my doctor. Well, actually he knows. Kinda hard to hide.

But when we have the option of coffee with a message and a purpose, that’s even better. Allow me to introduce you to Restoration Roastery!

Restoration Roastery label

These amazing folks sent me a big box with 3 different kinds of coffee. Here’s the label from the one I’m going to show you, but let me just say: they’re all YUM.

Label telling the story of the roastery

If you read the back of that package, it explains that part of the proceeds from every bag goes to helping fight for the freedom of women from the world of human trafficking. This money is used to help restore their freedom and help them recover. If you’ve read Sisterhood, you know that this cause is close to my heart.

So! Coffee with a cause!

But does it taste good? I tried the Radiant variety first because… notes of chocolate? DEFINITELY! It’s dark but not burned, rich and good at waking me up in the morning. As in, I wake up thinking, oooooh… I have tasty coffee in the kitchen!

Here’s a gallery of photos from my morning process:

So to Jaime and the folks at Restoration Roastery, I need to say a long overdue thanks!

Seriously: as I have been working my fingers off trying to keep up with Website Drama and publishing, this coffee has been keeping me going!

    1. My husband and I have very different tastes in coffee as well. It is so much fun to have custom coffee. LOL This coffee (Restoration Roastery) was SO GOOD that I spiked my blood pressure. (Or maybe that was WordPress…) So I’ve had to limit my consumption of it for a bit, but I can’t wait to have more.
