Moving Beyond My Comfort Zone
The wonderful Laurie Wheeler is trying to get me to move out of my comfort zone. To prove to me that Sisterhood would be fun as an audio book, she read the first chapter for me.

I won’t say that marketing techniques are getting worse…because I already sound like a broken record. For years I’ve fought the fraudulent yellow pages bills sent to companies hoping that the treasurer will pay the ‘bill" without realizing it isn’t a real bill. Since I’m both the treasurer and the person who buys phone service…
(If you like to avoid religious commentary, you may want to skip this one…) I’ve had a friend tell me lately that she felt like she was trapped in Hell, and before you say you’re sure I’m referring to you, I’ve heard it more than once. It amazes me how many different forms of hell-on-earth…
I have been featured and mentioned a couple of times lately in the blog of my (hopefully still after this) dear friend Julie Weathers. I’ve known this wonderful lady through my on-line writers’ group for…a long time, and I’ve only ever found one thing wrong with her: she could use a bit more self-confidence. So,…

The biggest problem I see with websites is people caring about the wrong statistics, so this post is going to talk a little…
Is Laurie a professional audiobook narrator? She’s done a very good job with this first chapter. I’m a big fan of audiobooks, so it’s wonderful to see you moving out in that direction. Thumbs up!
She is a performance artist who did this as a gift for me. And yes, she is amazing. I’m in awe. Better than a lot of audiobooks I’ve heard. I could listen to her all day!
That’s so cool.
